Saudi CBAHI Medication Management Survey Preparation Workshop

The Medication Management Survey Preparation Workshop provides a comprehensive, operational-level overview of Medication Management (MM) standards aligned with CBAHI requirements.

The workshop is designed to support hospitals—particularly pharmacy services—in preparing for accreditation surveys by strengthening governance, medication safety systems, regulatory compliance, and quality practices across the entire medication-use cycle (selection, procurement, storage, prescribing, preparation, dispensing, administration, monitoring, and patient education).

The workshop translates standards into practical implementation strategies, documentation expectations, and survey readiness tools to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality medication management systems.

The workshop will be online through ZOOM meeting and the LINK WILL BE AVAILABLE IN THE WHATSAPP GROUP.

The workshop has a mixed medium of instruction in both English and Arabic languages.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Interpret CBAHI Medication Management standards and their operational implications.
• Apply documentation best practices to demonstrate compliance during survey review.
• Recognize Medication Management -related Essential safety Requirements (ESRs) and their implications for accreditation scoring.
• Prepare pharmacists, nurses and physicians for surveyor interviews.
• Conduct internal self-assessment to evaluate areas’ compliance gaps.
• Develop corrective action plans to address identified deficiencies prior to survey.
• Assess general organizational readiness for a CBAHI Medication Management survey.
