Quality Improvement Practical Approaches Workshop

This Improvement project workshop is a training program aims to train health care staff on using quality improvement tools and implementation in real improvement project by using FOCUS – PDCA methodology.
The workshop will help trainees to select and implement the suitable quality tool in each step of the methodology.
The workshop will also help trainees to determine and design the suitable KPI for the project in planning and monitoring phases of the project.
This workshop will be online through ZOOM meeting and will be recorded and the LINK WILL BE SENT AT WHATSAPP GROUP.
This workshop has a mixed medium of instruction in both English and Arabic languages. 

IMPROVEMENT PROJECT & PATIENT SAFETY ACTIVITIES WORKSHOP DELIVERABLES
The workshop contains but not limited to:

1. 1. 10 Online Sessions, each session of 3 hrs.
   2. Weekly sessions with case-based discussions, group activities, and tool applications.
   3. All online sessions are recorded and accessible for all participants.
   4. Handouts for all sessions.
   5. Document samples for participants.
   6. Final assessment quiz for all attendees.
   7. Completion Certificate [No. of Hours: 30]. 

INTENDED LEARNING OUTCOMES:
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Design team charter.
  • Explain roles of team sponsor , team leader and team members.
  • Select the suitable quality tool for improvement project.
  • Implement the suitable quality tool in real improvement project.
  • Determine the data type, source and collection methodology in the project.
  • Choose the suitable chart to display data in improvement projects.
  • Determine the suitable KPI for the improvement project.
  • Design the suitable KPI for the improvement project.
  • Apply the RCA process.
  • Apply FMEA for risk assessment in improvement projects.
  • Apply FOCUS – PDCA methodology in improvement projects.
  • Design real improvement project step by step.
