What to Inspect When You are Expecting: A Pharmacy Quick Guide to Accreditation Continuous Compliance
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Pharmacy inspections are part of our daily responsibility to ensure patient safety and quality care. Inspection readiness is not about preparing when surveyors arrive — it is about doing the right thing every day. This session focuses on practical actions that help us stay compliant, safe, and inspection-ready at all times.
This session reviews the key areas inspectors commonly check in the pharmacy and explains what frontline staff are expected to do daily. It covers sterile compounding practices, medication storage, narcotics handling, expiration control, documentation, infection control, medication safety (High-Alert & LASA), and workplace safety.
The focus is on practical behaviors, correct documentation, and avoiding common mistakes that lead to inspection findings.
This event has a mixed medium of instruction in both English and Arabic languages.
