ABOUT THIS EVENT
This session explores one of the most persistent challenges in healthcare organizations: the gap between written policies and real-world practice.
Drawing on healthcare quality, patient safety, organizational culture, change management, and leadership theories, the session examines why this gap exists, how it can be analyzed using established organizational frameworks, and how leaders can drive sustainable improvement beyond compliance and accreditation requirements.
Participants will explore practical applications of Edgar Schein's Organizational Culture Model, SWOT Analysis, the Safety Culture Maturity Model, Kotter's 8-Step Change Model, and Transformational Leadership principles. The session emphasizes the critical role of leadership in translating policies, standards, and quality systems into everyday behaviors that improve patient outcomes and organizational performance.
